Sky Walk Pelling

The Pelling Skywalk, inaugurated in November 2018, holds the distinction of being India’s first glass skywalk. Perched at an altitude of 7,200 feet (2,195 meters) in the scenic town of Pelling, West Sikkim, this modern marvel combines thrill, spirituality, and natural beauty in one destination. The transparent glass-bottom walkway offers an exhilarating experience as visitors walk high above the valley, with unobstructed views of the lush hills, deep gorges, and the snow-clad peaks of the majestic Kanchenjunga range.

Located adjacent to the towering 137-foot statue of Chenrezig (a manifestation of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion), the Skywalk is part of a larger religious complex that includes a beautiful golden prayer wheel and several monasteries.
