How the Sikkim Prediction League works
A free fan engagement feature by Sikkim.co for the FIFA World Cup 2026. No money, no fantasy sports — just football, picks, and Sikkim football pride.
Match Predictions
Before each match kicks off, you pick the winner — and optionally guess the exact scoreline. You can change your pick anytime until kickoff. Once the match starts, your pick is locked.
The points
One flat scoring system across all 104 matches. No round multipliers, no asterisks, no maths.
Same scoring whether it's a group game, the third-place match, or the final — every prediction is worth the same. The big points live in the Mega Pick below.
For knockout matches, the winner is whoever advances — after extra time and penalties if needed. The exact-scoreline bonus is judged on regulation (90-minute) score.
The Mega Pick
Pick the team you think will lift the World Cup. One champion pick per fan. You can change your mind anytime — but the points tier you earn is locked in at the moment of each save. Earlier picks are worth more.

Tie-breaker
When two fans have the same total points, the leaderboard breaks ties in this order:
- Total points (higher wins)
- Exact-scoreline predictions (more wins)
- Correct winner picks (more wins)
Prizes & Recognition
There are no cash prizes and no payouts in the Sikkim Prediction League. What top fans win is recognition:
- • Weekly top scorer gets featured on the Sikkim.co homepage that week.
- • Tournament-end winner gets a dedicated blog post: “Sikkim's World Cup Oracle”.
- • Top 3 overall get a permanent “Sikkim Football Legend” badge on their profile.
